Why do people blog?
Why do people blog?
This is the ques. that has often striked me whenever i scribble something in my blog . i have seen blogs where people just write about what is happening in their daily lives ( very much like me ) , have seen blogs where people are more int. in showing their peotic skills ( btw they should be worried about patenting them ) , have seen blogs where one discusses the deep ques. of life related with love , parents etc. , have seen blogs where people just write about the events happening in the world and provide their view how they see that event and many more…
I personally started to blog due to a friend’s advice that blogging is good and four or five years the line , it would be great to know how we felt at that interval of time and what were the events which we thought are worth mentioning. the idea was very fascinating but somehow i feel that i should have a personal diary instead of blog for discussing all this and why is it necesaary to make things public and put a restriction on the type of stuff i want to scribble ???
on the other hand , it is quite int. to recieve others comments on the daily happenings of our life ( this is a general statement , as i do not recieve any comments
) and putting the imp. things in the password protected region..since these two things always are constantly fighting in my mind and i am unable to decide who is the winner , so i am not taking any major decisions( but i do feel that the first thought is better , so would be more careful in my blog entries and thould would mean less entries descrbing the daily life and more related with the imp. stuff i think)
Owing to karan , i now have access to the blogs of the Gods of E.D.L.C in IIT and seeing their blogs i always feel ashamed at the level at which they write , they discuss the philosphical ques. of their lives , recite their poetic imaginations , discuss their lives and there is such a fine balance between all these that one is mesmerized and keeps on reading the blog ..
will try to be one of them …
